Basting
For those of you who prefer to quilt your own tops but do not have the floor or table space, or find using dozens of safety pins tedious, I offer a basting service.
Your quilt top will be machine basted at 4” intervals using cotton/polyester core thread, ready for you to quilt either by hand or machine.
Machine basting on a long arm quilting frame ensures the backing is wrinkle free.

I will trim and bind your quilt for a ¼” finished binding, with fully mitred joins and corners.
The binding can either be hand finished by me or left sewn one side ready for you to hand finish.
Sleeves are attached to hang a quilt to an inserted rod and are usually designed to comply with quilt show requirements.
They can be the width of the quilt or split to allow for rod cups or tabs. Velcro is sometimes used but not recommended.
