Beginner’s Patchwork & Quilting Course. 8 x 3 hours
An excellent introduction to the basic concepts of patchwork and quilting. This eight week course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. It is designed to teach techniques needed to make beautifully pieced and appliquéd quilts by hand and/or machine. A series of blocks will be completed which may, at a later stage, be used as cushions, or combined to make a small quilt. More Details
Double Irish Chain. 1 x 6 hours
An ideal quilt for busy people. Improve your machine piecing skills while learning this simple but effective design.

Japanese Folded Patchwork. 1 x 6 hours
A unique way of producing a double sided quilt. Each unit is constructed separately and when completed may be joined together to produce a variety of patterns.

Log Cabin “In-A-Day”. 1 x 6 hours
Speed piecing techniques, which eliminates the need to cut logs individually, are used to construct a Log Cabin Quilt.

Quilt Construction Workshop. 1 x 6 hours
Turn those finished blocks into a quilt top. This One-Day Workshop is a great follow-up for those who have completed the Beginner’s Patchwork & Quilting Course or for quilters who have a set of blocks and require some guidance on “putting it all together. Straight and diagonal settings, sashings, posts, borders and bindings will be covered.
A sewing machine and 5, 6, 9 or 12 finished blocks required.
Scrappy “Quilt-As-You-Go” 1 x 6 hours
Learn the “Quilt-As-You-Go” technique to make a quilt without the hassle of feeding all that bulk through the small space in your sewing machine.

Stack and Whack. 2 x 2 hours
Take the mystery out of kaleidoscope quilts. Learn the magic “Stack and Whack” method and delight in the unexpected patterns which occur from the most unlikely fabrics.

Twist and Turn. 1 x 6 hours
Create a quilt using those wonderful theme fabrics. This method may also be used to “even-up” odd sized blocks or to blend friendship blocks into a unified design.
