  • Your quilt top will be machine basted at 4” intervals using cotton/polyester core thread, ready for you to quilt either by hand or machine.
  • Machine basting on a long arm quilting frame ensures the backing is wrinkle free.

Labels

Designed and printed onto fabric

  • Quilt labels are used to record information on who made the quilt, the name of the quilt and the year it was made.
  • I have a range of existing designs, or a custom designed label may include a photo or a poem in available fonts.

Preparing Tops and Backs for Long Arm Quilting

  1. Press seams and iron top
  2. Cut off Loose Threads
  3. Keep top, batting and back separate
  4. Square back, top and bottom, to enable attaching to the machine rollers
  5. Backing and supplied batting to be 4" (10cm) larger than the quilt on all sides
